Dan and his team completely renovated my dated bungalow. Adding an extension to the rear with a feature sky lantern and a loft conversion giving me the space and home I could only dream about. I am so happy with the workmanship, Dan and his team were polite and informative thought all stages and I am delighted at the finished project. I could not recommend Shaw Home Improvements enough and I will definitely be using them again in the future.

We found Shaw Home Improvements on Facebook, after looking around for a builder to do our new open plan kitchen/dining room. I rang up and spoke to Sharon in the office explaining what we would like. Dan came out and gave a free estimate offering friendly, professional, non pushy advice when doing the quote. We decided to go ahead after reading other reviews and finding the price great! The work has been completed today and I am so happy with it! Sam the lad who worked on the job was very good, and nothing was a bother to him. I had spent a long time searching for companies that would provide me with PVC sash windows that looked authentic and operated in a similar way. None of the smaller companies I had looked at could provide me with this. I had quotes from larger companies and was initially going with Safestyle. However their poor customer service and very pushy manner put me off. I was lucky enough to have Daniel recommended to me after this. He is a perfectionist and it shows in his work and manner. Neighbours in the street who have seen and watched him working have also asked him for quotes on work for their property. He is very helpful with advice on other issues to do with work I would like done. I can not recommend him highly enough.

Dan and his team carried out a full renovation to my Office in Spital Tongues. I can't speak highly enough of the works carried out. Initially they were replacing the windows, door and reconfiguring the interior, but on stripping it back it was found to need new supports of steel to replace the old oak frame. Nothing was too much trouble and he quickly advised on what further work the job would require to complete. My business was open throughout the build and the building made secure each evening. The renovation was completed to a very high standard and I would have no hesitation in recommending Dan and the team to anyone requiring work. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company for all significant forms of building work. I recently undertook what for me was a major building project involving the erection of an extension and a substantial porch, replacement of all downstairs flooring, replacement bathroom and new downstairs WC in a challenging location. Not knowing where to start I did some research online and was impressed with the professional nature of this company’s website and the very positive customer testimonials. This professionalism was reflected from my first meeting with Dan Shaw until the completion of the project on schedule and within budget. All of the people who worked on the project were either employed directly by the company or were regularly contracted by the company and all were clearly highly competent in their particular areas of expertise. They were all polite and pleasant to deal with and showed abundant patience with my persistent and often naïve questions. The whole project was overseen by Dan himself along with strong and efficient administrative support from the company’s office. All minor issues were immediately resolved and numerous small improvements made at their suggestion were incorporated as the work progressed with the only additional costs being incurred with specific ‘extras’ which I had requested. Five weeks on from completion no significant ‘snagging’ issues have arisen. What I had anticipated would be a highly stressful process proved to be anything but.

Shaw Home improvements were fantastic in completing our whole house refurbishment. They replaced all Windows ,built our conservatory, redesigned to open plan living,fitted kitchen, replaced all flooring , internal doors, skirting, exterior doors etc. This was all completed over 7 weeks with little disruption to living as we resided in the property throughout. Dan ensured the property was liveable in the evening which was a great relief. I would highly recommend the quality level of workmanship and would not hesitate to use their services in the future.
